{"id":5617,"date":"2020-01-28T15:12:03","date_gmt":"2020-01-28T14:12:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tyr\/miloamerge\/glossaire\/plantes\/reishi\/"},"modified":"2024-07-19T14:00:04","modified_gmt":"2024-07-19T12:00:04","slug":"reishi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/miloa.eu\/en\/glossary\/plants\/reishi\/","title":{"rendered":"<span class=\"reishi\">Reishi<\/span>"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><H2>CHARACTERISTICS<\/H2> It contains more than 400 active compounds, whether in its fruit, spores or mycelium, including triterpenoids, polysaccharides, steroids, fatty acids, proteins and many minerals and vitamins (Zn, Se, P, K, Ca, Mg, vitamins B and D).<\/p>\n<p><H2>PROPERTIES<\/h2>\n<ul style=\"color: #d61163;\">\n<li>\n<h3><font color=\"#d61163\">Anticancer capabilities:<\/font><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Several molecules explain its anti-tumour activities: lucidenic acid, ganoderic acids and polysaccharides, beta-D-glucans (as in Shiitake). Ganoderic acid inhibits the growth of <em>in vitro<\/em> cancer cells and <em>in vivo<\/em> metastases by metallic-protease inhibition, decreased cell motility and adhesion capacity <span class=\"prod_ref\">(CHEN &#038; al, 2010)<\/span>. Ganoderic acid has a marked cytotoxicity to cancer cell lines, as Johnson Et al showed on prostate cancer in 2010. <\/p>\n<p>As for beta-glucans, immune system stimulation is the main mechanism of their anti-tumour activity <span class=\"prod_ref\">(XU &#038; al, 2011)<\/span>.They improve immunity, stimulate the activity of cytotoxic NK and T lymphocytes, and induce apoptosis of cancer cells <span class=\"prod_ref\">(ZHANG &#038; al, 2007)<\/span> they also stimulate B lymphocytes and dendritic cells <span class=\"prod_ref\">(PAN &#038; al, 2013)<\/span>. <\/p>\n<p>In mice, the administration of Reishi has helped to control the side effects of cyclophosphamide (which causes immunosuppression as early as 3 days), allowing for the recovery of bone marrow functions as of 5 days, a resumption of haematopoiesis and the synthesis of T and B lymphocytes as of 8 days.
