VETERINARY DOCTORS FOR BIODIVERSITY (Vétérinaires pour la Biodiversité, VPB)

It is a veterinary voice for the defense of living matter. On June 8, 2023, a new veterinary association was created; it’s called Vétérinaires Pour la Biodiversité (VPB).

This new French association aims to protect nature and more particularly wildlife. It aims to be an interface between the veterinary profession and the defense of living matter.

HOW?

• By participating in the reception of wildlife by veterinary teams in veterinary clinics,
• By raising funds through microdonations, raffles,
• By relaying veterinary initiative petitions in favor of wildlife,
• By raising awareness of biodiversity within the framework of breeding advice,
• By working with the general public to raise awareness and consolidate scientific knowledge.

HOW?

Contributing to VPB does not commit you to action and does not imply any skills. It is a simple and strong message that says: “as a vet, I defend living matter and I support the actions of VPB”. Repeated by a large number of veterinarians and veterinary students, this message will give VPB the representativeness and legitimacy necessary for action for Life. The annual membership fee is only €10… don’t hesitate to join and support VPB!!!

To find out more about VPB, go to the AFVAC congress in Lille from November 30 to December 2, stand V6; student volunteers will be present to inform the visitors.
