Mammals have an extremely sophisticated immune system that has evolved over time. They need this immune system to survive and adapt to their environment. They need this immune system to survive and adapt to their environment. It protects the body from external attack and also plays a part in allergies, neoplastic processes and inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.

The immune system has three lines of defence: physical barriers (the skin and the respiratory, digestive and urinary mucosa), innate or non-specific immunity (macrophages, dendritic cells, natural killer (NK) cells and polymorphonuclear neutrophils (PMNs)) and specific immunity (T and B lymphocytes). Unfortunately, the immune system does not always respond as it should.

It may be deficient or compromised in older animals or animals with immunodepression, diabetes, hypothyroidism, hypercorticism, FIV or FeLV.

This can also occur in young animals that are not yet immunocompetent. In some cases, it really does need a helping hand to cope with, for example, coryza, leishmaniasis, toxoplasmosis, piroplasmosis, pneumonia and pericarditis.

Finally, neoplasms and chemotherapy are tough on the immune system and the whole body, which will need effective support.

The nutritional components of Immune Supp TM Miloa work together to support immunity for convalescent and weakened animals. Immune Supp TM contributes to reinforce the defence mechanisms in cases of stress or fatigue.

Here is Délice, a female Aries rabbit, sterilized and 7.5 years old. She came to see me for vestibular syndrome. She had a stiff neck, she fell on her left side on her own. She was unable to stand up straight and for 12 hours she had been unable to eat or drink.

During the clinical examination, I highlighted a soft lump the size of a walnut under his left ear which looked like an abscess. Everything else about my exam was normal. On the x-ray, I saw a marked opacity of the left tympanic bulla.

To date, the mass has almost disappeared and the rabbit has returned to normal behavior. Specific feeding was stopped.

We have a godmother at the association, and we don't talk about her enough on our web page, while her gifts are gold, yes yes gold! I'm talking about veterinary doctor Estelle Lhoest and her Veterinary Expert Miloa products. Estelle has been helping us for many years now, and frankly, I consider her as our godmother. She advises us with respect to our little protégés, most of whom have a lack of immunity, digestion problems, chronic coryzas ... in short, everything the street offers them before arriving at our home. We supplement our darlings with her tablets. This year especially, we have seen a difference in ALL the cats in the pet store. It's fantastic and it warms our hearts! Chronic coryzas are largely attenuated. No sick pet this winter! Their hair, their attitude, their look shows that they feel much better. And... icing on the cake, they are all as fat as pigs ? They are finally living a decent cat life. Everyone that goes to the shelter, suggests to us that he has never seen a shelter cat in such great shape ? We are proud of it. We wholeheartedly thank Estelle and Miloa.
