As a veterinary assistant, I’d like to tell you about my cat Pookie, a pretty 5-year-old female sphynx who has had chronic diarrhea since January. Following additional examinations that I carried out, including biopsies, IBD (chronic infiltrative bowel disease) was diagnosed.

Lucifer is a 6-month-old kitten. Unfortunately, he has not been properly weaned and is not well socialised. He is very close to his owner, but very anxious around other people and also with his fellow cats. He has recently been living with 3 other cats and living with his 3 friends is rather difficult.

On advice of my veterinarian, I use Digest Regul™ when my female dogs start to have loose stools.

I vary the duration of the treatment depending on their stools. In general, 1 day of treatment with 1 tablet morning and evening is sufficient. If there is really more severe diarrhea, I give 1 tablet morning and evening for the first 2 days then ½ tablet morning and evening for 2 days.

I give Digest Regul™ for digestive problems and it is very effective quickly. I always have some in reserve at home.

Khezia is a 17-year-old granny cat who has chronic coryza. My veterinarian recommended Respi Miloa™ in drop formulation as soon as she starts sneezing again.

I place Khezia in her transport crate. I placed a bowl of hot water with Respi Miloa™ drops in front of the grill and covered with a towel. As soon as the bowl is cold I released her. I arranged 1 inhalation morning and evening for 6 days. Quickly, she breathes better and no longer sneezes.

Moka is a charming 8-year-old little European cat. He suffers from regular vomiting and constipation associated with massive ingestion of hair. Because of its indoor lifestyle, shedding does not occur naturally, which causes abundant hair loss throughout the year and therefore massive ingestion of hair when toileting. As a result, he vomits hairballs and his transit is difficult.

This is Lapinou, an 11 year old male dwarf rabbit who comes for consultation because he has diarrhea which alternates with normal droppings on the same day for 3 days. This is at least the third time that he has presented these kinds of symptoms in two months but it is the first time that his owners have shown it to me in consultation.

There are no repercussions on his general condition and his appetite is preserved. His diet is not suitable because he receives poor quality pellets in large quantities, biscuits, cake, corn, very few vegetables and poor quality hay.

Lapinou's general examination showed nothing abnormal. His abdomen was supple, not painful. Upon palpation, I felt some droppings. His body temperature was normal and his teeth showed no abnormalities.

As his diet is too rich in sugars and too low in good quality fiber, it leads to abnormal fermentation in the intestine and diarrhea which alternates with normal droppings. I decided to give him Digest Regul™ for 12 days. His digestive health improved after 2 days. Obviously, I changed his diet by eliminating pellets and biscuits, favoring good quality hay and feed and reintroducing green vegetables little by little.

Since these changes and his treatment with Digest Regul™, Lapinou is doing wonderfully well.

This is Bunny, a 3 year old female sterilized rabbit who came to see me because her owner noticed that she was drinking and urinating a lot, that she no longer had appetite and that she had been adopting an abnormal position for 2 to 3 days.

On general examination, I found her to be dehydrated. She was soiled with urine between the hind legs and she presented intense pain when palpating the abdomen on the left and right. Her intestinal transit was reduced. Her body temperature was normal. Examination of her teeth showed no abnormalities.

The blood test indicated a slight increase in urea and a significant rise in creatinine. The x-ray showed large bilateral renal lithiasis. I hospitalized her and put her on a drip with supportive treatment, low-calcium diet and Reno Pro™.

The rabbit is seen regularly for a blood check once a month and the kidney values are quite stable.

Let me introduce you to Simba, a 6 month old male Flanders Giant rabbit. I saw him in consultation because he had a bite wound on his stomach inflicted by a friend. As he also had to be castrated, during the surgical procedure, I debrided this wound. I put him on antibiotics and the healing of this bite wound took a long time.

A few months later, he returned for consultation because he had numerous abscesses under the skin of his stomach, again due to bites inflicted by a friend. During the surgical excision, I took samples to determine which bacteria were incriminated. It was Pasteurella and Streptococci. I put him on an antibiotic active against these 2 bacteria.

Two months later, he returned with an abscess the size of a pea and this time, the owner refused surgical curettage. I put Simba on antibiotics. After 3 weeks, the abscess the size of a pea had become the size of a tangerine and surgical intervention was essential.

I prescribed, in addition to the antibiotic, Immune Supp™ to boost his immunity and Sima had no recurrence.

Let me introduce you to Angelo, a 4.5 year old gray parrot from Gabon. When I saw him for consultation the first time, he had been followed without improvement for 6 months by a colleague for an injury under the wing with significant itching. He was under treatment with fluoxetine, an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory. His owner was desperate and even considered euthanizing him.

The parrot had a large bandage surrounding the wing. He was super stressed. He hadn't spoken for several months and he had lost a lot of weight. Under the bandage, I discovered that the inside of his wing was raw and bleeding. The skin was like cardboard and one area was even starting to become necrotic. First, I thoroughly cleaned the wound. As Angelo was confident, he let it happen. I redid the figure 8 bandage with antiseptic ointment. The owner redid the bandage two days later and I saw him again 3 days later.

I immediately prescribed Zen Supp™ mixed with mashed banana to help him relax. On the wound, I used Der Miloa™ and ointment. I also put a straitjacket on to prevent him from fiddling with his bandage.

At the first check, the wound was significantly healthier. Angelo was also calmer and sought less to scratch under the wing. During the second check-up, 1 week later, the owner told me that he no longer stopped talking, that he ate with more appetite and that above all he was much less stressed. The straitjacket was no longer necessary: his feathers were growing back on his thighs and on his back.

Healing was very good, the scabs were falling off, the skin was more supple and the wound was very clean. I continued the treatment and bandages until complete healing.

Let me introduce you to Crumble, a small 8-year-old male dwarf rabbit that I received for consultation because he urinated a lot and this caused his hair to become dirty around the genital area and hind legs.

Indeed, Crumble showed extensive dermatitis between and on the inside of the hind legs with hair loss. This caused very significant pain. His general condition remained good. Abdominal palpation showed a smaller kidney on the left than on the right but the owners refused an x-ray-exam.

A blood test showed normal dosage of urea and creatinine but total proteins were too high.

I decided to hospitalize him to rehydrate him by infusion and provide local care for 48 hours. He got home with a change in his diet, anti-inflammatory treatment and Reno Pro™ to preventively protect his kidney, as well as Der Miloa™ for local care on his paws. His condition improved after a few days.

This is Fanette, a pretty 3.5 year old female sterilized ram rabbit that I saw in consultation for loss of shape, loss of appetite, prostration. Her stools were normal.

Auscultation was completely normal and there were no dental abnormalities. By talking to her owners, we concluded that she is stressed because the male with whom she lives is constantly trying to cover her even though he is castrated.

I nevertheless performed an x-ray to rule out any digestive disease. It showed a stomach and intestines full of food but fortunately transit did not seem stopped. Which means that Fanette is eating normally and everything is going well in this regard. I prescribed her ¼ tablet of Zen Supp™ per day and I implanted a hormonal implant into the male.

Within a few days, the female rabbit resumed her habits and her behavior became completely normal again.

This is Pinette, a 12.5 year old female dwarf rabbit who comes for consultation because of a stiff neck: her head was stuck at a right angle to the right. She was spinning in circles to the right and was unable to eat or drink.

On clinical examination, she did not present nystagmus, her teeth did not show any abnormality, her temperature was normal and palpation showed a flexible abdomen. Her blood work was also completely normal. I hospitalized her to put her on a drip and give her supportive treatments as well as specific feeding.

I introduce you to Picatchou, a 9 year old male dwarf rabbit. During consultation, the owners told me he would urinate everywhere; his rear end would be soiled; he would be losing weight, and above all he would have difficulty eating.

I noticed hair loss around both eyes, and that he was suffering from significant weight loss. His body temperature was normal.

I hospitalized him for 48 hours to clean the abscess and I put him on a drip for rehydration. I prescribed antibiotics, painkillers and Hepa Supp™.

After 3 weeks, his condition stabilized.

This is Panpan, a 7.5 year old ram rabbit. He came to see me for consultation for transit arrest. He was amorphous, showed loss of appetite, could no longer sit still and took abnormal positions. Since then, Zen Supp™ has been useful more than once in all these situations for these 3 rabbits.

Here is Délice, a female Aries rabbit, sterilized and 7.5 years old. She came to see me for vestibular syndrome. She had a stiff neck, she fell on her left side on her own. She was unable to stand up straight and for 12 hours she had been unable to eat or drink.

During the clinical examination, I highlighted a soft lump the size of a walnut under his left ear which looked like an abscess. Everything else about my exam was normal. On the x-ray, I saw a marked opacity of the left tympanic bulla.

To date, the mass has almost disappeared and the rabbit has returned to normal behavior. Specific feeding was stopped.

Tchyco arrived in a very thin state at the Noah’s Ark shelter in August 2023. He was only 2 and a half years old. He had many symptoms which suggested that he was ill: several skin lesions, very pale mucous membranes, lameness, very damaged eye area, anorexia.

Volunteering at the shelter, I immediately fell in love with him. Quickly, my family and I became his new family for life. It was important to quickly offer him a calm environment, a suitable diet and a lot of love to help him get back on his feet. He was quickly seen by a veterinarian to make a diagnosis.

Very quickly, the verdict came, Tchyco was suffering from Leishmaniasis with kidney failure already well advanced. This disease, present in the Mediterranean region, is not encouraging. It is transmitted by the bite of a sandfly (a mosquito) and is incurable (a vaccine exists, prevention is essential). The parasites actually travel in the dog's blood and can attack the skin, organs and joints.

Treatments have been implemented. Every month, a blood test is taken: his progress is incredible. At present (February 2024), he has gained more than 6 kg, he has a nice coat, he no longer limps and the contours of his eyes have become more beautiful. He is living his best life with daily walks, games and petting. However, his kidneys remain sick. Despite a specific kidney diet, his kidneys are permanently damaged and we must supplement him with Reno Pro™ and Omega Supp™ in order to help him as much as possible.

Anti-Ageing™ and Anti-Ox™ are not the only Miloa products I give to my dog. I also occasionally give him Zen Supp™ because he is naturally quite anxious and is more and more so as he gets older. Lunard is a 1-year-old castrated male rabbit was presented for consultation for uncleanliness, excessive water intake and very liquid feces. A blood test was taken showing a marked elevation in renal parameters and antibodies against the parasite Encephalotizoon Cuniculi.

Sanji is a 2 year old castrated male presented for decreased appetite and significant weight loss. He drank more than usual. Just like Lunard, he suffered from an E.cuniculi infection and had increased kidney parameters.

For Sanji and Lunard, urinary symptoms quickly improved following taking anti-parasitic and Reno Pro™ from Miloa (1/2 tab per day continuously for 1 month) to support the kidneys. A blood test was taken 1 month later and everything returned to normal.

E.cuniculi (intracellular parasitic micropsoridia) is very common in rabbits. Transmission occurs mainly via urine or during gestation. Fortunately, carriage is often asymptomatic but it can be triggered in particular by stress (change of environment, transport, new companion in the home, operation, etc.) and lead to nervous and/or urinary and/or ocular symptoms.

As this parasite can persist throughout the animal's life, Sanji and Lunard follow repeated treatments with Reno Pro™ at the slightest recurring kidney symptom.

Coco is a 6-year-old obese rosalbin, with lipomas (fat mass), dull plumage and a lack of energy. He hardly spoke anymore. His diet consisted of seed mixtures.

Following a dietary rebalancing and thanks to the addition of Omega Supp™ and Hepa Supp™ from Miloa, Coco lost weight and his plumage became shinier. The owners were happy to find their companion as before.

Severus is our 8 year old female cat. Unfortunately, she has suffered from respiratory problems for several years (chronic coryza) which regularly require occasional treatments.

Nobu is a 11 1/2 year old collie with a history of chronic inflammatory bowel disease (CIBD) and numerous food intolerances. He also has hypothyroidism (treated). Hello, My name is Aurélie Lecachux. I'm a veterinarian in Haute Savoie. I advised Mobility Supp ^TM Miloa to Mrs Montheil for her dog, Apache, a 15 year-old golden retriever who suffers from severe motor difficulties. The dog has been taking it for 2 months and now walks and gets up on its own. The improvements are spectacular.

Isterik will be 10 years old on 29 August this year and for several months she had been having difficulty walking. She seemed to tire very easily and often limped on her front leg. X-rays didn’t reveal anything serious, other than an osteophyte (like Tyson) and a touch of osteoarthritis in her right front elbow. She’s been taking Mobility Supp ^TM Miloa products since December. Haribo, my 7-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, has been on Cardio Supp ^TM for the past year to treat his heart murmur. The medication has a nice taste and he takes it without any problem. His health is much improved and he doesn’t get as out of breath as he used to. This product is effective and can be easily cut up – I recommend it.

A great hunter, Pascal Guillaumot from Soussey de Brionne pushed his passion quite far and hunted with his dogs without a rifle. To do this, he has assembled a small pack of running dogs: tricolour Anglo-Français de Petite Véneries. Honey is a 40kg dog, a true Formula 1 of a hunting dog, he is the leader of the pack who, all of a sudden, begins to no longer hunt, tire and doesn’t follow the others. His dogs never stop and can hunt for an entire day and be energised for the next day. He makes a calculated ration but some become fragile and have had cases of severe renal failure upon returning from hunting (a known pathology in this type of hunting). So, he’s very sensitive to treatments given. We’re looking for a lot of things without results only to find a slight hypothyroidism that we are starting to treat "to see". There is a significant improvement in the condition of the dog’s corpulence and hunting efficiency but Pascal wanted the minimum dose of thyroid hormones to avoid toxicity. He was therefore placed on Forthyron (a low dose) and Energy Supp ^TM in the morning on hunting days. Miel has taken his place as leader and everything seems to be going well. The check-up afterwards has shown a correction without any overdose. Pascal even began to give Energy Supp ^TM at the request of his dogs on the mornings of hunting days depending on the use of each dog previously. There are of course hunting accidents and sutures to be done which forces the dogs to rest. The other dogs are therefore more solicitated during this period since there is no longer a turnover, in this case Energy Supp ^TM allows him to keep dogs in shape on hunting days.

Since about 3 to 4 months our 12-year-old Yorkie Bill has appeared more and more absent, in his own world, straight on his 4 paws, with a fixed gaze, no reaction to being called, nor to the ring of the front doorbell... This is Apple, a 9½-year-old male weighing 45 kg, whom I saw at the clinic when he came in for his annual check-up and vaccinations last January. His clinical examination was fine, apart from a few issues with bones and joints: he was experiencing a sharp pain when his right hip was extended and pressure on the lumbar vertebrae also caused him discomfort. I suggested to the owner that she should bring him back in a week’s time for an osteopathy session (I couldn’t do it any sooner) and that we should start him on Mobility Supp ^TM as a disease-modifying treatment in the meantime. A week later, during the osteopathy session, Apple was already doing much better and his owner told me that he was starting to get on the sofa again and that it was a good sign. And in fact, during the clinical examination, I noticed that he was already in less pain than just a week earlier. Since then Apple has been taking two tablets in a single daily dose every morning and is doing great. The owner told me that this treatment was very convenient for her, because it is effective and easy to administer (Apple takes the tablets willingly).

A Labrador and Golden Retriever cross breed, Lexie is full of energy! On July 28th, 2019, her 3^rd birthday, she had her first epileptic seizure. Following a blood test, her wonderful veterinarian advised us to start with a mild treatment. It has been more than 6 months since we gave her 1tbl/day of Zen Supp ^TM Miloa (or 2tbl/day during stressful episodes (trips…). Lexie is alleviated and her seizures are more spaced than ever.

Dolfy was brought to the clinic, following a decrease in fitness and appetite. A blood test revealed very severe renal failure and cholestasis. Renal values were very high: urea 1.78 g/l (standards: 0.19 to 0.60 g/l) and creatinine 38.8 mg/l (standards 3.1 to 14 mg/l). The ALKP enzymes were 244 u/l (max 130 u/l). So Dolfy was hospitalized and put on IV for 3 days. Once his condition stabilized, Dolfy went home with 2 Miloa treatments: Reno Pro ^TM for kidney failure and Hepa Supp ^TM for fighting cholestasis. Treatments were administered at ½ Tab per day for each treatment. Dolfy returned to the clinic for a check-up. He recovered his usual energy and appetite. He also gained weight: he went from 5.5kg to 5.850kg. A routine blood test was performed. Kidney and liver values have returned to normal. The urea decreased to 0.14 g/l, creatinine to 8 mg/l, and ALKP to 59 u/l. The Reno Pro ^TM and Hepa Supp ^TM treatments will therefore be continued in the long term. A blood test will be performed every 3 months to verify that the values remain within the standards.

This is Abby, a castrated Brittany aged 14 years and 2 months and weighing 12.5 kg, who has stage C dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM). His existing treatment was Benazepril (ACEI: angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor) in a single dose of 0.4 mg/kg/d, in addition to one Anti-Ageing ^TM tablet every morning since he suffered a stroke. About ten days after having his stroke and starting on Anti-Ageing ^TM, there was a marked improvement and some four weeks later he’d completely recovered from the stroke without any after-effects. He then began to get increasingly breathless and developed a cough. A cardiopulmonary examination revealed pulmonary oedema and also that his DCM had worsened since the previous check-up eight months earlier. I therefore supplemented his treatment with 2mg/kg/d Furosemide, administered in two daily doses, and one Cardio Supp ^TM tablet a day in the morning. As agreed, Abby’s owner called me ten days after the start of the new treatment and reported that Abby was beginning to feel much better and was much less tired than previously. A month later, during his clinical check-up, Abby was very lively and even tried to jump up onto the consultation table. Cardio Supp ^TM was always my second-line treatment for patients with cardiac problems, but I’ve been using it as the first-line treatment since Abby.

My cat Pimousse had been showing symptoms of agitation and anxiety episodically for some time. I no longer recognized her, she started meowing loudly, for no reason, which is not her habit. She also followed me around the apartment, whereas she is usually a quiet and calm pussy. Subsequently, these "crises" became almost daily. Concerned, I finally talked to her vets who recommended a treatment with Miloa's Zen Supp ^TM. She takes half a tablet a day and I can tell you that the treatment was effective very quickly. The symptoms almost disappeared in 24 - 48 hours.

Delta, a 10-year-old spayed Labrador, had an incidental finding of an atrophic kidney when she came to us for a routine consultation in January 2018. The dog had been monitored with regular blood tests, which had not shown up any abnormalities until then (urea and creatinine levels were normal). After an ultrasound scan indicated the kidney problem, a urine analysis was carried out but revealed no abnormalities. Her SDMA (a biomarker for early detection of kidney disease) was high, however, which prompted her owner to agree to start her on renal support treatment with Miloa’s Reno Pro ^TM (one tablet a day). Since then, Delta has been doing well and has increased her daily water intake (which was low before the treatment began). Good product palatability.

Moustique, a small crossed male Griffon dog, born in April 2005, is followed for a diabetes problem since December 2017. He’s been on insulin ever since diabetes was detected. But recently, he started drinking more than usual. A blood test in January 2019 revealed that Moustique suffers from liver failure following diabetes. The blood sample showed a significant increase in ALT (152U/I, max 100U/I) and ALKP (899 U/I, max 212 U/I). Moustique was then prescribed Hepa Supp ^TM at a dose of 1 tablet daily. Moustique was viewed in clinic on 14/02/2019. He is better: he drinks well and eats normally again. It was therefore decided to continue the treatment of Hepa Supp ^TM for life, in order to maintain the positive effects of the treatment. Moustique takes his treatment like a treat.

Zoe was taken for a consultation in February 2018 because she drank and urinated a lot. Zoe is a sterilized European cat, born in August 2003. A blood test showed that she suffered from kidney failure. Urea and creatinine were increased (urea: 0.9 g/l, max = 0.6 g/l and creatinine 14.8 mg/l, max = 14 mg/l). Since then, Zoe has been on Reno Pro ^TM at half a tablet a day. Zoe has been taking her treatment easily since that date and is doing well. She still has a good appetite despite her advanced age and kidney problems."

Mrs. Marie Tandrya, is a high quality French Bulldog breeder which she sells in Switzerland for a pretty penny. A small breeder with a dozen dogs, two male reproducers, two retired females, two young females and six female reproducers. She keeps her females and buys the males. Everything was going well for Jolie, a three-year-old bred and pregnant female when her back went out at around 1 month of gestation. It is her second gestation. We were supposed to take X-rays to try to see the number of puppies a little later, but this episode had us moving up the date of the X-Rays to check the vertebrae, and.... one image of the lumbar vertebrae is not great. We are not surgeons, but we can guess that the L2 vertebra is quite old because we have the impression of a lipping of the vertebrae (ossification) in the L1-L2-L3. Though she has puppies worth €2,000 in her belly, so what to do in the immediate urgency. We do a shot of NSAIDs, but we want to avoid giving anti-inflammatory drugs for the duration of the gestation. So, we are trying the Mobility Supp ^TM all month long which gave good results. The gestation is coming to an end with 7 puppies delivered via caesarean section, alive and that were able to be sold. During that month the female moved normally. Of course Jolie will be removed from reproduction because we had X-rays done on her father and the images are not good either so there is certainly a genetic transmission. For the moment, Mrs. Tandrya continues the Mobility Supp ^TM with cures of 15 days when the pain returns in order to place the female into retirement with someone who will take her in with knowledge of how and why.

We put in place a treatment with Mobility Supp ^TM for Socrates, a 12-year-old castrated male Beauceron dog, because he had recurrent joint pains with numerous episodes of limping. Socrates was finding it more and more difficult to move around. Socrates has been taking his supplement for six months. Since being on Mobility Supp ^TM, Socrates is much more flexible. He has found his fervour during walks and only rarely limps. He manages to follow his fellow friends during the outings without showing signs of limping. A 15-year-old cross bred farm dog, who mostly uses the couch of the farm leading a peaceful existence in the Auxoise countryside after 4 years of couch surfing in a 20 m² apartment during Charline’s studies in Liege Belgium. She wasn’t even a guinea-pig at the University of Liege Veterinarian Department. Everything was going well when Charline wanted to do a pre-anaesthesia check-up to see if they could put Shaïna under in order to remove a lipoma from her thigh. The check-up was not very good with liver markers going in all directions. It was decided not to operate but… Shaïna was getting worse not eating, losing weight, and vomiting most likely after the stress of the blood exam and the transit to the clinic (It was a long way from the couch). At that moment, the worst-case scenario was thought of, she lost 2 kilos. The representative from Miloa had just came by, so we tried a treatment with Hepa Supp ^TM (without a great conviction it must be said, but it would have been the same with another speciality) When then… The dog started getting better, eating and even gaining 3 kilos in one month. More tests were then done and only a high level of bilirubin was detected, the tests were not pushed further. Abyss is a 13-year-old American female Stafford Terrier. She has been experiencing locomoteur difficulties for 3 months with slight posterior paresis and quite severe pain. During his annual visit at 7, the veterinarian decides to check his urea rate, as the Burmese cats are predisposed to kidney problems. We continue the treatment and, a few months later, Ganesh no longer vomits! What a relief for him (and for us: less housekeeping!)

Ace and Bailey’s are both Australian Bouvier dogs 12.5 years old and 11.5 years old. Ace has been on Anti-Ageing ^TM for 2 years due to incontinence problems and other small concerns related to his age and since he started his treatment, he is doing very well and there are virtually no more incidents. Bailey’s was put on Anti-Ageing ^TM after a stroke and since then he has been in great shape. I inadvertently stopped treatment once for 2 weeks and I saw a real difference. I am not risking to forget it again.

Mistigri is a 5-year-old, sterilised, tortoiseshell European shorthair. She came to me with coryza and severe rhinitis. Her breathing and lung sounds were both very noisy and laboured. I began by prescribing oral antibiotics and inhalations of Respi Miloa ^TM. The owner returned the next day because she had not been able to get Mistigri to take the pills but she had managed to give her two inhalations. The difference was incredible. She no longer had a purulent nasal discharge and was clearly breathing much easier, although she was still wheezing. The lung sounds were also clearer. Maurice is a 6-year-old male Pug. He has a previous history of joint pain, which is more acute on the rear left side, stiffness in cold weather and difficulty getting up and starting to move about. Once moving, he limps in both back legs and feels discomfort when he puts his weight on them. He has bilateral patellar instability. He’s been taking Mobility Supp ^TM for two weeks now and we’ve noticed his limping has improved and he is more flexible when he moves. Excellent appetite.

This is Diane, who came in for a heart scan, as she has class IA heart failure according to the International Small Animal Cardiac Health Council classification:

Pipo is a 9-year-old castrated Labrador and weighs 36 kg. He was brought in to see me on 25 April 2018 for a second opinion on his locomotor problems, which looked at first sight to be widespread. Examination revealed that his hips were painful, especially when they were extended. X-rays showed severe osteoarthritis of the hips, more advanced in the right hip. We decided not to use any NSAID-type (NonSteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs) and instead prescribed Mobility Supp ^TM (3 tablets to be taken every morning as a single dose). After a few days Pipo was in less pain and was moving about more easily. A few weeks later his locomotor behaviour was almost back to normal. Because of the encouraging results, his owner wanted to continue with Mobility Supp ^TM, supplemented with some Niromathé and laser sessions. I also suggested that Pipo should lose some weight, as his optimum weight was 34 kg. Pipo is still taking Mobility Supp ^TM and is doing very well. A 10-year-old castrated Border Collie, weighing 25 kg, Willow is owned by Mr Jonet and has been receiving treatment for arthritic pain and occasional lameness for two years. He always limps the day after a long walk in cold weather. We managed these episodes by putting him on non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for a week. We also prescribed Mobility Supp ^TM, 1½ tablets a day for a month, then 1 tablet a day for another month. At his check-up after one month on Mobility Supp ^TM it appeared that the frequency of painful episodes had been halved, which is great news. Must is an 18-month-old White Swiss Shepherd Dog. I’m a veterinary assistant and I work in a veterinary clinic. I adopted him when he was 5 months old. You might say I actually saved his life... At the age of 4 months, Must was brought to see the vet for the second time with a heart murmur. On that occasion, Dr Koel did some additional tests and detected severe pulmonary stenosis, which greatly reduces life expectancy. Because of the complications associated with pulmonary stenosis, Must’s first owners didn’t want to keep him. So the woman who bred him decided to take him back and do an exchange. She contacted us for further information about his condition. The dog had no symptoms so we advised her to find relaxed owners who would give Must an easy, comfortable life. The breeder didn’t have the space to keep him, so she decided to find a new family for him as soon as possible. After thinking it over at the weekend, we met up with the breeder to review the situation. Before the meeting, Dr Koel told me Must’s story and I was so moved I decided to adopt him if he was still available. And that’s how I became Must’s happy new owner in April 2017. The first objective was for him to reach his first birthday: mission accomplished! Now we’re thinking why not aim for his second birthday? Must isn’t in any pain at the moment, touch wood. It’s a tricky business trying to channel his energy, as he loves to play and be active. So he has a strict schedule: games in the morning for no more than 15 minutes and he can also play in the evening if he’s not too tired. He’s also on a strict diet, as we have to keep his weight under control. Obesity would only exacerbate his condition. At the moment we take him for a long walk every weekend – about 3 or 4 km of moderate exercise. We’ll gradually increase the distance over the next few months, up to a maximum of 10 km. The only treatment he has is Cardio Supp ^TM, which he’s been on since May 2017. He has no problem taking the tablets – well, when he wants to and only if I give them to him! Cardio Supp ^TM keeps his heart muscles in good shape. His condition hasn’t got any worse since he started the treatment. I give him 2 tablets daily and he weighs 34 kg.

My name is Laïko and I’m a 2½-year-old Pointer cross. After a stay in kennels while my owners were on holiday, I had recurrent bouts of diarrhoea so I took Digest Regul ^TM and I was soon back to normal.

Ulysse is a 15-year-old Shih Tzu who came to us with balance and behavioural problems. Our investigations suggested he had a neurological disorder of intercranial origin. We carried out a brain MRI, which identified a large cyst that was causing increased intracranial pressure, so we started hypotensive treatment. His owners brought him in again because he was whining at night, which could have been due to his cyst or to age-related brain degeneration, or both. We therefore decided to try Anti-Ageing ^TM because we didn’t have any other medication to treat the cyst. Ulysse has been taking his tablets for two months now and the whining has completely stopped.

My name is Dixie, I’m 10 years old and I’m a beautiful American Bulldog. I’m very lively and playful, but lately I’ve had some health problems. G-RICO is a 6-year-old German Shepherd, weighing in at 35 kg. He got injured playing with some other dogs and the resulting neck pain meant he had to stop training and competing. After six weeks of complete rest, we decided to give him Energy Supp ^TM and Mobility Supp ^TM and to resume gentle exercise. His neck pain has now cleared up so G-RICO will be able to start training again while continuing to take Energy Supp ^TM and Mobility Supp ^TM on a regular basis.

Norman is a 10-month-old Australian Shepherd. When he was 8 months old, he displayed signs of hyper-attachment and hyper-vigilance (scanning the environment regularly). His uneasiness manifested itself in destructive behaviour, the wooden doors in the house being the prime target. He caused havoc whenever we left him on his own. Even when we were there, he would whine and stopped wanting to play. So our vet advised us to try Zen Supp ^TM to soothe his anxiety and we noticed a definite improvement in his behaviour right away. He’s much calmer, has stopped whining and even plays by himself again. It hasn’t made him drowsy either. He’s also much less destructive. Réglisse, a 12½-year-old Chihuahua, was diagnosed with osteoarthritis at the age of 8. He had very limited mobility, often limped and was no longer able to climb stairs. Within 10 days Réglisse had perked right up and was eager to go for walks again. He’s back playing with his pals and I’m delighted to say that I can cuddle him again too.

Mint is a 1-year-old castrated European Shorthair. I got him when he was 2 months old and he was suffering from acute coryza (feline viral rhinotracheitis). He was in a very bad way but had a great appetite, which was a good sign. The vet put him on antibiotics and blood-thinning medication, and I gave him inhalations of Respi Miloa ^TM. I could see a real improvement within just two or three days. I carried on with the inhalant for a few days after the course of treatment ended. He still had breathing problems and his coryza became chronic. But as you can see in the photo, he’s come through the worst of it and is doing very well! I give him Respi Miloa ^TM to inhale at home as soon as he starts wheezing. He doesn’t seem to mind being shut in his carrier during treatment and just waits quietly. This is Féria, a Beauceron cross who is 7½ years old. When she was 2 months old, Féria underwent surgery on her left femur (fracture reduction and pinning). Unfortunately, the pin damaged the growth cartilage. At 6 months, an X-ray confirmed a 20 mm difference between the two femurs. This difference has remained stable but since the age of 4 the weight-bearing problems she has experienced have caused osteoarthritis in her shoulders and of course her left hip. My vet put her on a course of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and prescribed a special diet. However, because Féria is a very happy dog and full of energy, the limping became increasingly frequent. During the last painful episode of osteoarthritis, I decided to try Mobility Supp ^TM at a dose of 1 pill/20 kg. The results were just as rapid as with the NSAIDs and the benefits are very much better. After two weeks Féria had stopped limping completely and yet I was one of the sceptical clients. Mimi is a "young" 19-year-old European shorthair. Winter was very cold and wet and she began to have mobility problems. She started to pee wherever she was and could no longer groom herself, as the slightest movement was painful. Her mistress also felt that Mimi was tired and a bit lost. My name is IPPY and I’m a princess. My mummy is a vet and I really love her. The only problem is that I’m a very stressed cat. Sometimes I pee outside my litter tray and car travel is a disaster. Diane is a 7-year-old, slightly overweight (6 kg) European shorthair. For every dog show I use MILOA Ultra Care ^TM shampoo on my English Cocker Spaniel, NRJ, who is 12 months old. Her coat is ultra-silky, tangle-free and still very light in colour.

Cirka is a 10½-year-old Rottweiler with hip dysplasia and a very sensitive digestive system. Stark is a 16-year-old male Belgian Shepherd Malinois. He’s been treated with a conversion enzyme inhibitor and Miloa Cardio Supp ^TM since 2014 and is as fit as a fiddle!
